Under Refurbishment

It's pretty clear that I've done pretty much jack all on Deviantart in the many years I've had an account. I've done more viewing of art than the creation of actual art. I've either been non-motivated, other issues have gotten in the way, etc. I thoroughly bores me silly and I think I should at least try and leave the rut I got stuck in.

Due to a number of circumstances over the last few months, 2014 is a wakeup call, a year of necessary personal reinvention. Art is likely to follow suit. Beginning with 2014 through 2015 I'm making a push to relearn the entire rulebook until I consider myself accomplished enough as an artist. As a result there may/will be long time gaps between submissions

So effective as of immediately I plan to trim down my gallery and scraps, remove the fat and leave only the few images I think have some redeeming value to them. I will then reconsider what goes into this gallery for the foreseeable future. Any future submissions I look back on and not satisfied with will be culled; I'm not one to look back on genuine crap lovingly with nostalgia goggles.

For those that supported me over the last few years, thanks for doing so. I'm not going very far; just back to the drawing board.
